If you want to recover the vitality you once had, The Naturopathic Co. will take you by the hand and show you how. By utilising functional testing, we seek the cause(s) of dysfunction and address them by working with the wisdom of the body.
The unrelenting demands of life can take their toll on your health. Modern life causes us to face high levels of stress, minimal downtime, superwoman expectations, anxiety, and chronically poor sleep. Digestive symptoms, brain fog, hair loss, skin issues, excess weight, and sleeplessness is your body’s way of telling you that something has gone wrong and needs to be addressed.
Yvette is a qualified Melbourne-based Naturopath and Nutritionist, MINDD Practitioner, member of the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia, and Complementary Medicine Association. Yvette specialises in the treatment of conditions commonly affecting women and children, with a key interest in children’s digestive and neurological conditions, as well as women’s hormonal concerns, digestive issues, fatigue, anxiety, and skin concerns.
Yvette’s naturopathic treatment encompasses the modalities of herbal medicine, clinical nutrition, and nutritional supplementation.
The addition of iridology assessments, flower remedies, tissue salts, and celloids allows further flexibility in treatment prescriptions and restorative agents.
Specific pathology is addressed through modern functional testing, which allows Yvette the confidence to manage cases with the most appropriate therapeutic prescription. She has special interest in the concept of bioindividuality; that all individuals have a unique interaction with their nutritional and external environment. Her naturopathic assessment involves dietary, lifestyle, occupational, social, environmental, and emotional considerations and their impact on health.
Yvette is also a certified health coach and reiki practitioner, and when she’s not consulting, you can probably find her running after two young children, providing a taxi service to various children’s activities, and cooking or making lunchboxes. When/if there is any ‘me time’ she is likely to be attending wellness events, educational seminars or webinars, exercising or relaxing at the Tan, enjoying Melbourne’s vast array of health eateries, painting large canvases, or treating herself to luxury holistic spa treatments.
Christine is a qualified Naturopath, a member of the Complementary Medicine Association, and incredibly passionate about her profession.
Christine listens to her patients and treats them as individuals, allowing for personalised and tailored health care. Motivated by the idea that a person can take control of their own health, she helps her patients by identifying the root cause of their condition and works with them, with complete support and guidance, to achieve their optimal health. She doesn’t just deal with the symptoms, she deals with the problem. When you deal with the problem, the symptoms go away.
As a mother, I understand that all we want for our children is for them to be healthy and happy. Kids should have the opportunity to play with lots of energy, laugh without worry or anxiety, enjoy good food without the tummy troubles, focus and concentrate when needed and thrive as they grow. Their health is important for today, tomorrow, and to prepare them for their adult lives.
As parents, we give so much of ourselves to our families that often we get left behind. As a result, we begin to believe that our fatigue, stress, hormonal issues, poor sleep or other health complaints are normal. They’re not.
Christine is the incredibly proud mother of two unique and beautiful kids who are currently in primary school. If you were to come to Christine’s house you would find something bubbling away on the stove, music on in the background, an UNO game in progress with lots of loud laughter (there has been tears too), a window open to let the fresh air in and a pile of cook books. If it’s a Friday night, then it’s a bowl of popcorn with blankets, lots of cuddles and a family movie.
