FAQs
How can The Naturopathic Co. help me?
We are qualified Australian naturopaths, members of the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA), and Complementary Medicine Association (CMA). As naturopaths we receive extensive training in clinical nutrition, herbal medicine (phytotherapy), and human anatomy and physiology. We specialise in clinically investigating underlying factors using breakthrough diagnostic testing in order to determine the cause of your imbalance, and tailor specific treatments for you. We take the time to listen to your circumstances and fully evaluate your health needs, which often does not occur in conventional medicine practices.
Do you work with patients anywhere in Australia?
Yes we work with patients by zoom, or phone and our naturopaths have worked with patients throughout Australia.
When you book a consultation, you will receive an email with a Zoom link. If you prefer to talk on the phone, your naturopath will contact you by phone at your allocated time.
What should I expect at my first appointment?
Working with patients by Zoom works the same way as it would in person. We go through a series of questions relating to health, lifestyle, family health history, which allows us to gather a picture of the drivers which may be underlying your health condition. If we require functional testing, that is arranged at your local pathology centre.
Initial Naturopathic Consult Standard (1 hour). Initial Naturopathic Consult Extended (1 hr 30).
During this consult you will be asked a series of questions to expand on your Health Questionnaire paperwork that you emailed through prior to your appointment. A full health history will be taken, and we will identify if any functional testing may be required. Testing is not always required. We will cover some initial recommendations.
At the end of your consultation, you are sent a copy of your treatment plan recommendations, a naturopathic prescription, and a link to our preferred dispensary for any supplements you may need. These can be sent direct to your door.
