NutriPATH is one of the largest functional testing laboratories, with collection centres located Australia wide. Nutripath’s pathology tests assist us in identifying the underlying cause of illness, providing us confidence in treatment strategy and health outcomes.
NutriPATH offers more tests than any other integrative medical laboratory. With more than 200 tests available, assessments investigate endocrine, gastrointestinal, immunological, genomic, metabolic and nutritional balance.
The clinical and scientific staff at NutriPATH are pioneers in the industry of functional medicine and have had many years of experience, technical knowledge and are proactively involved in further training and introducing new and advanced pathology testing within Australasia.
Some of the more regular pathology tests we utilise are stool tests/ gastrointestinal profiles, oestrogen metabolites, liver profile, female hormone profile, thyroid profile, food sensitivities/intolerance testing, inflammation markers, intestinal permeability, and routine pathology.
NutriPATH offer an extensive range of gastrointestinal test profiles to assist and provide us with the flexibility in deciding the most appropriate test analyses for the patient.
The CDSA (stool test) can assist us to develop earlier, more effective preventive interventions, improve the timing and precision of treatments and reduce the risk of clinical relapse in certain groups of patients. It also allows us to better evaluate the medical necessity for more invasive procedures such as a colonoscopy.
The CDSA test comprises of biochemical markers including digestive absorption and metabolic markers.
Stool tests will provide information on opportunistic bacteria, and provide a list of prescriptive and natural agent sensitivities parasitic or bacterial organisms if they are detected for optimal choice of treatment.
These tests also show if certain strains of beneficial bacteria need to be increased.
The CDSA provides an excellent assessment of digestive function and is the appropriate choice for patients presenting with suboptimal gut function or for patients with sudden changes in bowel pattern. A DNA Multiplex PCR test can be added if parasites are suspected.
Nutripath pathology provides testing for hormonal health, gut health, allergies and intolerances, mental health, environmental, routine pathology, genetic and wellness, cardiovascular health, and oncology.
