Herbal teas, their uses, and benefits

True teas are green tea, black tea, and oolong tea, which are brewed from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. They are potent antioxidants and great for gut health.

Herbal teas are made from dried fruits, flowers, spices, and herbs.

Below are some of the most popular healing herbal teas

Licorice Tea

Licorice root tea has a very sweet taste. It is great for digestive issues, and healing the gut lining. Good for gastritis, ulcers, reflux, adrenal issues, constipation.

Gingko Tea

Gingko is used for cognition enhancing, memory, concentration, and is neuroprotective. It’s also great for circulatory issues.

Ashwaghanda Tea

Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb. The most common use is for treating stress, anxiety and sleeping problems. It is also great for post viral syndromes and iron deficiency.

Elderberry Tea

Elderflower tea has an antibacterial and antiviral properties. It is a powerful antioxidant, and great for treating the common cold and flu.

Nettle Tea

Nettle helps to reduce the risk of heart diseases, cancer and diabetes, and has a positive effect on blood pressure. It’s good for cleansing the blood and detoxing.

Dandelion Tea

Dandelion is good for high blood pressure, swelling, constipation, gall stones, and liver insufficiency.

Gotu Kola Tea

Marshmellow Root Tea

Thyme Tea

Chamomile Tea
